A Manitoba, Canada witness at Birds Hill reported waking during the night while camping as a bright blue light filled his tent, according to August 4, 2014 testimony in Case 58629 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was camping alone on the night of July 31 to August 1, 2014, and recalls waking near 3 a.m.
“My tent was filled by a bright light that started off whitish but changed to bright blue,” the witness stated. “It was shining through the tent from the outside. I do not remember hearing anything, but I remember feeling strange and disoriented.”
The witness says he returned to sleep at that point.
“I did not have the urge to leave my tent, just to close my eyes and hope it went away. I woke up again, I am not sure how much later. I felt less disoriented and was wondering why I had woken earlier.”
Then the witness had memories from the event.
“I then remembered the blue light and I then had a memory of a small hooded figure at the edge of my campsite. When I noticed it, it flashed closer to me without walking. I have no memory of a craft or anything else, but I have had sightings in the past.”
Birds Hill is a community in the Canadian province of Manitoba located a few kilometers northeast of Winnipeg. MUFON Canada is investigating.

Seriously how could he possibly have seen a hooded figure when he already admitted that he didn’t look outside the tent? Bad dream or one of the 1,100 approved drones?
Per the comment from Sheila: The witness stated that he did not have the urge to leave his tent and that he was in a state of disorientation. Hooded figures are not uncommon. Document all the information given since we are still in the beginnings of understanding our multi-dimensional universe.
Come on, seriously? Just a memory of a hooded figure? Sounds like he’s watched the Harry Potter movies a few too many times! I’m fully aware that these so-called “hooded figures” have been reported before, but taken in the context of the reports themselves, none of them sound like bona-fide UFO pilot/ET related occurrences. We have to remember that people thought they saw a scythe-bearing skeleton dude out in the fields during the Bubonic Plague years. People have claimed to have been seeing all sorts of these more mythological, mystical sounding things. Doesn’t mean that any of these events actually occurred. We know very well what fear, panic, and hysteria can produce. People claimed to have witnessed the “Witch’s Sabbath” in which the Devil himself appeared. So much for the validity of these type of accounts. Hooded figured, scythe bearing skeleton dudes. This category of witness testimony is so full of holes that a sociology professor could see through them…no 3-D glasses necessary. Seems like you could sell people on Bigfoot pimping out his offspring for crack at this point.
