The witness and a friend walked outside to a truck about 11:34 p.m. on October 10, 2015, on a dark and cloudy evening.

“I felt like I needed to look up and when I did there were seven lights in the sky shaped like a triangle,” the witness stated. “I couldn’t believe what I saw, so I hit my friend and he looked up and jumped.”

The friend pointed out the lights in a triangle formation.

“When I first saw it I thought it was just a plane until I realized all the lights and how perfect the triangle was. The object or objects were heading smoothly down southeast of Coulter going at a medium speed.”

The witness was upset over the sighting.

“When I first realized what I saw I started having a panic attack . I couldn’t believe I saw that above Amarillo , Texas. We were only able to watch it for a good 40 seconds and then it flew in the clouds.”

  1. The witness seems very credible as he felt panicked by what he had seen. It must have been a very large object.

  2. I have seen this close up under 500 feet in Longmont Colorado on March 21 2015 around 8:30-8:45 or 9pm. I had this strange urgent urge to just take my 2 year old son outside for a walk to look at stars, even though it was time to get him ready for bed. I reported this to mufon.com. it is case # 72981. This thing had the exact light formation you are showing in the picture. My son noticed it first and pointed at it then I saw it just hovering motionless in the sky about 45 degree angle vie from the ground. just sitting still in the sky in front of us. Then after I pointed at it, it moved west directly over us. What I saw was the 7 round dull orangd yellowish lights and a giant V shaped craft that was kind of transparent. Like tbe predator in the Schwarzenegger movie. I could see the background stars through it and distort around its edges as it glided like a hockey puck or and ice cube with no resistance right over us. Absolutely no sound at all. No blinking or flashing lights, no contrails or exhaust, just the round lights. Was invisibility cloaked similiar to looking at a heat mirage in the distance on a rd. This thing was almost as wide as a football field. Yet hard to judge how low or high it was. I just thought it was maybe below 500 feet. Scared the hell out of my son and I.

  3. The urge to look up or go outside to do the same when a UFO is involved seems to be a recurring theme among contactees. Twice during a hectic daylight work schedule, my husband experienced the sudden urge to look up. He immediately spotted a sphere or saucer sitting stationary high in the sky above him. When he looked away, then back, the object had disappeared. This was around 1990. I had two similar occurrences, perhaps a year later and separated by 6 months. This time it was night. My attention was drawn to a bright light in the sky. In both instances, the light was identical, twice the size of Jupiter, did not twinkle, and appeared as a bright dot as if someone had stuck a white thumbtack into a black backdrop. The circumference was sharply defined. No sooner than I saw it, the light shrunk to a pinpoint and vanished. Time elapsed: maybe 10 seconds. I stared at the black sky to study the area where the light had been and saw no navigation lights. These episodes leave one with the impression that a cat-and-mouse game is being played on those of us who may have a more intimate connection to UFOs and aliens than most people. Are they just letting us know they are keeping track of us, just checking in with a “hello” touch-and-go? Tantalizing.
