Missouri couple drives under hovering triangle UFO
A Missouri couple driving north along Highway A in Long Lane reported moving under a triangle-shaped UFO hovering about 25 feet above the roadway on June 17, 2014, according to testimony in Case 57123 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The husband was driving with the wife in the front passenger seat and their daughter in the back seat when the object was first seen at a distance of about a quarter mile ahead. They quickly began to rule out objects like a tower or a helicopter as the approached it.
“Within a few a seconds we were directly under it in the middle of road,” the wife reported. “We stopped for approximately 10 to 15 seconds – felt like a lot longer. It was about 25 feet above us. I say this because I could see things on the bottom of it and when we drove off it was about 10 to 15 feet above the trees.”
The witness described the object.
“It was triangular, dull gray, with darker long shapes on bottom. Brighter light in middle, two smaller lights on both sides of front point, two small lights on both sides of large light, then three lights across wider backend. The light was not normal. Don’t know how to explain it. Bottom was flat and had some sort of bars or legs that the lights kind of reflected off of.”
The husband wanted to get out of the vehicle for a better look, but the wife yelled for him to pull away as she was scared.
“He started to drive away and I grabbed for my phone to take pictures but was too shook up and scared to work my phone. It sat in same spot after we drove away. We could see it until trees started blocking it out. Three or four cars passed as we were driving and it still didn’t move. Later my husband and daughter said they couldn’t stop staring at the strange lights. My husband acted happy and giggly. My daughter was scared also.”

Interesting that a high-tech military base is located just east of here. Ft. Leonard Wood is an advanced training center for all military branches.
They been building them on earth for about 70 years. Black triangles are Lockheed Martin made in USA saucers. You can crash them with a hand held pulsing device that anyone can build and you will see the occupants are not alien but Human.
Since the Government doesn’t want to acknowledge them they are open season to be shot down. If anyone asks why you did it just say.. I thought we were being invaded so I shot it down to protect my country.
I witness a dark gold triangle hovering over a roadway,on a beautiful afternoon,on October 8,2008. No earthly craft had the operation,or reason to be doing what it was. The US Air Force,NASA,or its Navel counter parts do not,or would not fly secret craft over ANY civilian areas PERIOD. Safety, secrecy, the priority.Nor do they need to. Plus ,even ‘secret prototypes’,must follow FAA rules, and have red/green/port/starboard strobes…. These people are for real, and so,am I. No ‘Trekki ‘,here etc. What I saw,has been seen, for literally decades! Some going back to the 1930’s! Since my experience,I have been studying Triangles .They are not o this plane,or planet.
No info on approximate size. Could have been 2 feet wide or 20 feet or even more. Sometimes size does matter (RC toy, UAV, or piloted vehicle?).
Exactly Steve Parsons. A gray triangle sounds a LOT like a Stealth Bomber which are housed at Whiteman AFB in Knob Knoster, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is also located in south Central Missouri and I live about 1/2 way between those 2 bases. We see Stealths overhead quite often, but I will say they are far from silent. If you believe other theories, that would put these craft close to the Ozarks and all of the underground “government” facilities and the mysterious building in Ozark, MO. To be serioius though, we do see a lot of unusualy things in our skies. I would personally LOVE to see a UFO and have family that swear they have. Who am I to say these folks didn’t see exactly that?
I saw this EXACT same thing in October 2012 in arlington tx. And it flew DIRECTLY above my head. Took its time. It had kind of a gunmetal color to it. And the lights WERE weird. Looked like an airplane at first but my son and i soon realized it was not when it got close. He ran inside because it scared him. It had a long, sleek clear headlight cover type thing on the back and the bottom center was strange looking.
Incidentally i live fairly close (probably within fifty miles) to both carswell airforce base AND lockheed Martin. It was very strange and in PLAIN VIEW. Flew over my had and then over a grocery store.
Abbie Workman i live in Granby MO , About the Ozark story ? I have spoke to several neighbors who are contract workers who have and currently work there . They have not a clue who or what it is for, but they say the elevator goes down 11 Floors and its been outfitted and being outfitted at this time ! thx
I have seen a triangular shaped flying object back in the 80’s in the skies above Sydney,Australia. It was black.very large and moving quite slowly without a sound in the night sky.The only lights it had, were four or five dull orange in color, at the rear .
ive been seeing some circular ufos with black lights on the bottom, anyone seen those?
