Grandmother says Wright-Patterson UFO and alien stories are true

Tales of crashed UFO parts and alien bodies have been told about Wright-Patterson Air Force Base since the 1947 Roswell incident and now include a secondhand report filed today as Case 58327 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The report was filed by the grandchild of the woman who received the information firsthand in about 1960 who explains that his grandparents lived in Dayton, Ohio, for many years prior to 1964.

“A close friend retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base,” the reporting witness stated. “He was high ranking. My grandmother, who was the most witty, honest and candid person I’ve ever met asked him if it were true about the alien craft and possibly the alien bodies being stored at the base.”

The witness stated that he will never forget how the man responded as told to him by his grandmother.

“He said, ‘If the public knew what was at the base from the Roswell incident, there would be a general panic amongst the public.’”

The woman did not ask any more questions.

Ohio MUFON is investigating. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base east of Dayton, Ohio, in Greene and Montgomery counties. It includes both Wright and Patterson Fields, which were originally Wilbur Wright Field and Fairfield Aviation General Supply Depot. Patterson Field is located approximately 10 miles northeast of Dayton; Wright Field is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Dayton. Wright-Patterson AFB is the largest base of the United States Air Force.

  1. I have a hard time believing this story as true. The grandchild describes the grandmother as witty but when the man say’s to the grandmother, ‘If the public knew what was at the base from the Roswell incident, there would be a general panic amongst the public”, she doesn’t ask any question’s. The last thing I would do if that were me would to just act like it’s no big deal that we have proof of alien life and highly advanced technology. Here’s an actual transcript of a conversation I had last week with a friend of mine who works for the CIA.

Government: Scoobyteck, we have alien bodies and ufo’s, we know were humans came from and we can travel throughout the Universe.

Scoobyteck(Me) Cool, more importantly do you know what time the bank closes cause I need to deposit this check?

  2. I have some interesting details about a display at the US Air Force Mueseum that I saw several times as a kid on field trips and family visits. There used to be a display that was in a glass case, which apparently housed pieces of an alien craft and pictures of a UFO over Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This was displayed in the 1970’s and I was 7-12 years old during this time that I would visit. I am not sure when the display was taken down but it is definitely not there now. I am in touch with several of my classmates still that may remember this as well.

  3. It would seem to me that some rash decisions were made in those days, at the time of Roswell and after by authorities who believed the people would freak out if they knew the story, as was related in this item, sorry to say. Am reading books which relate an entirely different picture as to how it really was and is. Perhaps the media had perpetuated the idea the movie ‘War of the Worlds’ engendered, and of course we have some who actually believed all that, and still do. I am 89 years of age, participated in much aerospace, including Apollo program, so I have seen a lot.

  4. I neglected to mention that of course all that is true. What is sad is the way people who had witnessed UFO’s were treated, especially those who were crews of airliners, some lost their jobs when they reported the UFO’s that they had seen. Here we are 50 years later and we are ‘disclosure’ mode, finally.

  5. Sounds like a good knock off of the story told me by my grandmother before she died, which I’ve shared across the net. My grandparents lived in Roswell NM for a good number of years and were friends with a man who was on scene of the ’47 crash. My grandmother asked him what it was and his response was “It definately wasn’t a weather balloon like they want everyone to believe.” My grandmother asked no further questions…

  6. When I was a student engineer working for the DOD back in the early 80’s, one of the engineers I worked with had been to Wright-Patterson. He said there was a hanger there that was guarded 24/7 and no one was allowed in there, even though they had a secret clearance. Something was being hidden away, but who knows if it was really the Roswell craft and/or inhabitants. Also, it is documented that then-Senator Barry Goldwater asked to be shown what was in the hanger and was sternly told by an Air force general to not bring the subject up again.

  7. The article reiterates the ‘official’ attitude that the general public could not handle revelations of great social importance, such as hard evidence of extraterrestrial life visitations.

Are we really that stupid? Are we really that terrified of our own shadows that we can’t accept the idea that we have neighbors?
    ***
Or maybe the government just wants us on a real tight leash….about everything not just this subject…

and that’s just me, hollering from the choir loft…

  8. I knew a Air Force pilot stationed at a California Air Base who witnessed a UFO near the base. He was on the ground and was the craft hovering over a nearby hill. He reported it to his commander.
It was reported in Project Blue Book. The pilot was soon transferred and spent the rest of his
Air Force career (until retirement) at Wright Patterson!

  9. I’ve been reading stuff about ufo’s since the ’60s and I still don’t know what to believe. A lot of junk out there, but some things are hard to dismiss.

RE Wright-Patterson, there’s supposedly the story of Barry Goldwater asking about the whole flying saucer thing and being told never to bring it up again (google it).

In the early 2000s I worked as a physician recruiter and recall vividly talking on the phone to a psychiatrist who had been stationed there. “Wright-Patterson…that’s where the aliens are right??…………” Absolute silence. To recover, I said I was just joking. No joke back. No response at all.
He seemed jumpy about the whole thing so I just went on with other questions. Strange.

Did I read too much into it? Possibly. But I don’t think so.

  10. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s I had meetings at about two-thirds of all U.S. military bases in the continental USA and Hawaii. I’ve been to Wright-Patterson AFB maybe half a dozen times for meetings. The one thing that always struck me about Wright-Patterson AFB was the intense security they had relative to all the other bases I had visited. When I was in the Navy I guarded nuclear weapons on my ship and was part of the Security Alert Team (SAT). The SAT was no joke. We did not ever have drills; everything we did was deadly serious and if anyone else was moving during a security alert on the ship we were instructed to stop them using any and all force necessary, killing them if that is what it took. It was this same sense of seriousness I witnessed at Wright-Patterson AFB. They went on lock down twice while I was there and I got to witness how serious they are. It was very odd.

  11. David I hope you realize that project bluebook was tainted by real vision contacts which aren’t real at all.

  12. I have been on this base many times making deliveries as a truck driver. They have a nuclear facility that goes 4 stories underground with high security clearance. All around the base are air ventilation units to pump fresh air underground for this facility.
I delivered to this above ground facility and had to wear a nuclear biological tag. Being in the United States Army I knew it these tags were

I delivered to this above ground facility and had to wear a nuclear biological tag. Being in the United States Army I knew what these tags were. I jokingly said why is this tag red…….the guy turned around quickly and looked at my tag and seen it was still green and said I guess you know what those tags are for. I told him yes, I had nuclear biological training in the US Army. He said then I also guess you know that its not a joking matter. I apologized and we went about our business.

  14. I had several trips to Wright Pat in the late 1980s and there was the bunker, the building that everyone on the base called the place holding the alien bodies. High fence and munitions warnings posted. All concrete and no windows.

  15. I could use a little information about Wright Patterson, and surrounding area for my new novel. A prequel to my first, but to be read last:)

    Thanks

  16. My dad worked at WPAFB for many years as a civilian. He was a chemist and worked in the Jet Propulsion Lab analyzing jet fuel. He had a fairly high security clearance and had always joked about all the little green men on base. There were lots of things he took to the grave. Wish he would have spilled the truth!

  17. My dad was an USAF Captain and my family and I lived on WPAFB in Dayton Ohio for many years in the early to late 60’s when I was a child and I assure you, I (we) saw no little green men in or about the facilities, lol. Seriously…. I had an enjoyable and wholesome experience there as a child with no repercussions or sightings (we were free to roam the base, did our grocery shopping, medical checkups, schooling, etc.) and to this day my dad assures anyone who asks there were no aliens nor alien craft located there.

  18. To add to above…. that should read my dad was a Major. Later, when I grew up, my sister joined the AF and retired as a Captain. Anyway, I was not saying I disbelieve there may be alien life but the strangest forms are seen in our current D political system IMHO. Seriously though, the second and third person related stories such as is in the leader (header) are sort of too diluted to be taken as legitimate.
