Texas bright light reveals cylinder UFO

A Texas witness at Frisco reported that her 10-year-old daughter snapped a photo from their moving vehicle in the direction of an unknown bright light and later discovered a cylinder-shaped UFO, according to testimony in Case 71761 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving south along Warren Street when her daughter took the photo.

“She wanted to take the picture because the light was so bright coming from that side, so she stuck her phone towards the window and snapped a picture,” the witness stated.“We quickly realized that that’s not where the (natural) sunlight was coming from.”

The child then looked at the photo.

“When she looked at her phone she noticed the object was floating to the right of us.”

The witness did not notice anything in the sky as they approached the area.

“Before we got to that area we could see the area in which the object was floating and nothing was there from a distance. Again, however, once we got close the lights seemed to be so bright coming from that area that she snapped a picture and she quickly looked at it. She noticed the object and showed it to us immediately.”

The witness provided one image with the MUFON report, which was filed on October 22, 2015. Texas MUFON State Section Director Thomas Diamond investigated and closed this case as an Unknown.

  1. Here is what I was able to find after a short investigation. The roadway is called Warren Pkwy in Frisco Texas not Warren Street, and the direction of travel looks to be west, and not south as stated in the report. The object identified as a cylinder in the photo provided may be the speed limit sign on the side of the road.
Here is a Google street view of the exact same spot.

  2. I saved one of these pictures and put it in a graphics editor program and when you turn the brightness all the way down and the contrast all the way up you can see a distinct square around “UFO” object where it was pasted in picture. I went to google street view and saw where the angle of picture taken was in front of the 45mph speed limit sign but before the road curb curved. This is clearly a hoax. I do solidly believe that many other sightings are authentic other worldly sightings however. Way too many descriptions for it not to be real in my opinion.

  3. Yeah, it’s really poor examples like this that hurt the credibilty of considerably better photos. Would not have even posted this blurry, indistinct object without further investigation. Further investigation would have shown hoax and/or normal traffic sign.
