‘Platform-like’ UFO spotted hovering near Arkansas nuclear plant
An Arkansas witness at Dover reported watching a “bright, flashy, platform-like object” hovering near the nuclear plant in Russellvillle, according to testimony in Case 61651 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The object was noticed beginning about 1 a.m. on November 8, 2014, which was about 20 miles from the witnesses’ home.
“It emitted multi-colored lights as it stay stationary in the sky,” the witness stated. “For the next following two hours I would check on it periodically.”
The object moved at about 3 a.m.
“It ascended a flight path over my house and was completely out of view within three minutes. Object had no sound and had a strange electromagnetic-like feeling pulsate through my body as it flew over me.”
The witness has tracked other objects in the area and has experience flying aircraft.
Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) is a two-unit pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant located on Lake Dardanelle just outside Russellville, Arkansas. It is the only nuclear power plant in Arkansas. It is owned by Entergy Arkansas and operated by Entergy Nuclear.
Please remember that most UFO sighting can be explained as something natural or man-made. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.
Stationary for two hours, multi-colored lights, and no attempt at video in 2014?
Where can UFO nuts like me, get DVD’s of past, big UFO events? I wish I could attend every one of them! I”m sure I”m not alone in this situation. There are hopefully, thousands, maybe millions of people, that would love to have DVD,s of all these events, that can”t or weren’t able to attend. Is there a list of purchase sights, or does one have to search for hours to acquire them? It sure would be handy!!! Thanks
+1, Wil !
Can’t take a pic or two in a 2-hour period? Sounds like a big hoax to me.
I agree with Wil, stationary for two hours, accomplished pilot. Even if he had no access to a camera he could have called the local news station and most of the time they will shoot some video especially if it concerns a Nuclear Power Station. I am open minded to the existence of life other than us and the fact we have been and are being visited but this just does not set right with me.
Oh my! ANOTHER totally convincing TWO HOUR sighting with ZERO photo evidence. I guess you can’t expect a guy to get his hands on a camera–or his cell phone camera–in a measly two hour period of time…
What does an “electromagnetic” feeling feel like? Is this a commonly known feeling?
Every knows drones are used to monitor delicate infrastructure.
Not convincing enough without any evidence(Photo/video) whatsoever.
I would not have video-recorded it because I do not own such.
Most UFO video recordings are crap anyway, so why bother?
You get this nondescript light in the picture that tells nothing.
Good visual descriptions probably are more productive.
Folks need to learn to write and describe their sightings in detail.
The theory is that UFOs emit wavelengths, which cameras will not record.
Our physics community needs to work on better UFO technology.
I would buy high-tech instruments that were reasonably priced.
