Indiana witness illustrates UFO moving overhead

An Indiana witness at Anderson recalled a UFO event from 2015 where the object was “as big as a football field” and just 300 feet overhead, according to testimony in Case 82148 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was walking home after a third shift in November 2015 when the incident occurred.

“No cars were out,” the witness stated.“Just me walking down the middle of a major road.”

The witness saw the UFO out of the corner of his eye.

“I turned to the right and saw the huge, stretched, diamond-shaped spaceship. It had orange lights on all sides of it. It was just floating in a straight line heading east. No noise, no fumes. It was massive. Floating 200 feet above me.”

The object quickly moved away.

“It slowly flew east and I watched it until it disappeared. Breathtaking moment. Unbelievable.”

The witness provided three illustrations of the event with the report, which was filed on February 17, 2017.

Anderson is a city in and the county seat of Madison County, Indiana, population 56,129. MUFON Indiana Field Investigator Timothy D. Wagner investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.

“This object is not a natural phenomenon,” Wagner stated in his report. “It is possibly man-made. Could be a military secret craft. This can’t be ruled out. The object most likely is not a blimp because if it was 200 to 300 feet above witness, he should have heard the blimp motors. No sound pretty much rules out any conventional aircraft as we know it. Too big to be a hobbyist’s drone. With this limited information, would recommend a disposition of Unknown – UAV.”

  1. I live in Knightstown and this happened to me three or four days ago. I was outside and I was listening to music. I glanced up towards the sky and there was a triangular aircraft slowly gliding through the sky. It was very low and didn’t look any government craft I had ever seen. It had three flashing white lights. Two at the end and one towards the point. I was mesmerized and in awe. I haven’t seen anything like it since.

  2. In 1967 I was at a party in Lancaster MA near to Fort Devans. It was 9 PM and dark out as I stood and looked up at the sky myself and 3 others saw a huge football field size dark object with lights silently pass overhead.

  3. The craft has an internal ion generation propulsion system. It is basically like an ion breeze fan with no moving parts but the ions “blow” in and are contained internally and condense. By changing the polarity of the containment walls the craft can increase speed and change direction in any aspect. The condensed ions will attempt to repel from the charged wall and “push” the craft in the direction it needs to go. The faster you need to go the more surface area of the walls is charged. Since you have five walls of a triangle you can go in all those directions just by charging the proper walls to create repulsion propulsion. The glowing corners are just a necessary fact to release the static energy built up inside the containment vessels created in the process. These craft are actually all electric and only use small highly efficient frozen methane gas generators to create the electricity to power the ion generators. Frozen methane gas is the most abundant power source on the planet. It is easily safely stored and transported. A 2 foot square cube of frozen methane can provide enough fuel to power the craft for a week. Once the ions are sufficiently condensed very little power is actually needed to operate the craft which is manned by 3 people who sit inside a enclosed area in the center of the craft. One individual is the pilot the other is the sensor operator and the 3rd is the mechanical systems engineer. They are all contractors and the craft are capable of landing without a runway and no major ground support. They use closed federal wilderness areas to land when necessary. The craft is virtually constructed entirely out of fiber carbon composite panels and weighs not much more than a family van or small cargo truck. There are a number of diagrams on the web of what witnesses describe as what the undercarriage of these craft look like. Those are the ion generators that are seen. There are multiple triangle compartments as seen by each depressed area.

I also saw one back in north London around 2009 .it was during the time that they shut down all airspace over the uk for 3 days due to a volcanic eruption in Iceland ,it was triangular with a bright white light on each corner and moved silently overhead hard to say but probably 60 metres across ,definitely no aircraft or helicopters as they were all banned from flying due to ash

  5. It is HIGHLY PROBABLE it is a heavier than air lifter craft,
    since I do know from personal experience that Lockheed
    Martin had won some late 1990’s era contracts to look
    into “Stealth Blimp” technology for a 500 tonne to
    1000 tonne heavy lift craft (i.e. that’s nearly
    TWO MILLION POUNDS of heavy lift capability!)

    The stealth blimp shape I am familiar with is much more
    streamlined and aerodynamic than this very angular craft.

    The NEW shape suggests to me it is probably composite
    construction (i.e. carbon fibre rods similar to modern fishing poles)
    for it’s structural members and PROBABLY multi-chamber helium
    gas bags that can be independently filled and deflated for optimal
    buoyancy during heavy load transport. There are PROBABLY multiple
    helium recompressors onboard so that a helium gasbag can be
    deflated and re-inflated on-demand.

    For propulsion, the engines are PROBABLY very low-speed
    turbine like blades that are embedded DEEP into the hull
    using compound curve S-shapes and baffles to hide/absorb
    the acoustic signature of the engines without affecting
    propulsion too much!

    It is PROBABLY very maneuverable with multiple
    output ducts probably nearby each orange light
    do that the craft can be Thrust-Vectored into
    the proper direction.

    If it is the size, the witnesses say it is, then this is
    a much smaller test craft probably being able to lift
    near about 10 tonnes or about 20,000 to 30,000 lbs
    used for general software/hardware systems testing and
    evaluation. A full-size, operational 1000 tonne lifter would
    be at or LARGER than the size of a football stadium!

    I SUSPECT this craft is more to do with testing of
    the structural integrity of carbon-composite rods
    for flexion, torsion, shear and tensile strength
    AND final in-field testing of multi-helium bag
    independent inflation/deflation systems.

    I ALSO would not be surprised, that while this
    is PROBABLY a Lockheed Martin project, that
    the NRO, NSA and/or CIA spy agencies are
    digging their fingers into this project wanting
    to install ECM and heavy duty cameras for
    low-or-high-elevation long-endurance
    loitering within mostly non-contested airspace.

    The biggest use of this type of aircraft
    would likely be flying nearby North Korea,
    over Afghanistan and Yemen and probably
    open-ocean duty to detect submarines
    via measuring the thermohaline bulging
    as the traveling subs disturb various
    water layers which are NOW measurable
    from way above!

    Again, this is a test lifter system most likely
    and NOT an alien spacecraft!

  6. my mother and i saw the same thing about 1975-76 in northwest indiana, the 3 lights were flashing in such a way as to make it appear to move forward and at the same time give it a hoola-hoop motion. or the craft actually was doing a hoola-hoop motion , hard to say really even tho it approached us for maybe 3-4 minutes,hovered over us about 100 ft in the air for maybe 10 minutes then eased away to out of sight, still doing the hoola-hoop thing, reminded me of a mazda commercial out at the time, about rotary engine, it was doing same triangle rotary thing as a mazda engine but the whole craft seemed to be doing it. it was hard to really focus on, i think the size was determined more by the stars it blocked out than by actually “seeing” it.

  7. in late 70’s I lived in norther Indiana and was staying with my aunt. I was watching tv in living room when I heard my aunt screaming. I ran into kitchen where she was at the window looking north in the night sky. It was very cold out and the sky was clear. We both could see a large object pretty far in the atmosphere stationary. It was rectangular shaped and had 2 sets of lights on each corner. After a couple of minutes these lights from the corners moved away from the large object and came together as a group. I told my aunt to calm down. I called my girlfriend and told her I would pick her up in a couple of minutes which I did. Her 13 year old sister went with us. I went in the direction I thought the lights were and spotted them again. This time they were closer to the ground. We followed about 3 miles to a school in the country. We stopped the car because we had lost the lights. As we looked up we realized the reason we could not see the lights was because of an object, in my opinion. about the size of a football field right above us which blocked the lights out. My girlfriends sister was crying, and we were all scared. There was no sound nor wind coming from this. It was moving guessing around 5 m.p.h. We got in the car and watched it move across fields. I did not pursue it more. When we got back to my aunts house I called the local state police to ask if it had been reported by anyone else. I have shared this story with maybe 30 people in my life.
