New Jersey witness describes ‘teal blue’ UFO hovering near house (Photos)

A New Jersey witness at Caldwell reported watching a teal blue UFO that hovered near his home for 20 minutes beginning at 9:38 p.m. on June 26, 2014, according to testimony in Case 57407 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness first saw the object looking through a kitchen window and thought that the color was rather odd.

“The object stood out at first because of its unusual color, which was teal blue and very bright,” the witness stated.

The witness watched the object’s movement and hovering locations.

“The object would hover from left to right in about a range of 200 feet and then it would hover back at its original position and then drop down behind the tree tops out of my view very quickly and then gain altitude to hover again at the original position it started at. The object would continuously perform this odd maneuver for 20 minutes.”

The witness was able to capture images during the encounter.

“The last sighting I had of the object was when it quickly descended behind the tree tops and never reappeared. I observed this object for 20 minutes with my wife while taking photos and video.”

The witness submitted three images with the MUFON report, which was filed on June 27, 2014: Image 1, Image 2 and Image 3.

The witness has personally ruled out known objects and believes the object was unusual.

“The prominent colors were teal-blue, purple, white and red. When the object would change color it was as if the object’s color would mix with another color to create a new solid, very bright, pulsating color. An example would be like dropping food coloring into a small glass of water and seeing it mix.”

  1. Wow! We saw the exact described object last night in the same county..few towns over.. It was so bright! Teal-blue green.. Been searching for reports since last night.. It was around 12:30am..

  2. Its no secret the UFOs don’t give a rip if they war seen. Just stare at any star Cluster for a while and one our a few will start to move.

  3. Seen 2 of these together I think they are drones from somewhere . As described they hover abobe the tree line . But the 2 I saw made a sharp 33 degree turn followed by a magnificent dna helix maneuver . But the images posted looked exactly like these but a pair . Interesting enough they did have sound of a propeller , humming noise but to do what I witnessed it had to be accompanied with onboard AI and could communicate with each other , due to the complx flight patten . Under current US law they would mean only a military based drone using FBW and remote control out of sight with additional AI avoidance gps collision tech. Interesting enough its flight pattern afterwards took the standard reroute from the FAA rech center to Fort Dix then onto the PA Drone test Facilities

  4. I don’t understand why this is news. It seems obvious to me, based on the eyewitness testimony, that this was a drone sighting. Especially, after reading it “quickly descended behind the treetops and never returned.” The colors are also not typical of the lights attached to UFO reports. Although that doesn’t mean it absolutely cannot be of extraterrestrial origin, it’s just a another piece of the puzzle that, for me, adds up to drone.

  5. This wasn’t a drone as that was taken into consideration as one of my first thoughts while observing the object. I also don’t just jump to conclusions like some people. The military isn’t going to fly a drone that is as bright as depicted in the image to a town that is 20 miles outside NYC and have it hover for 20-25 minutes while maneuvering in ways that define gravity do to the speed and direction. Lastly, a drone would change color in the way that it would which looked as if food coloring was being mixed in a glass of water. The reason I said that it went behind the trees and never saw it again is because when I saw it dip behind the trees the last time I ran inside to get a better camera but when I got back it never reappeared. During that couple of minutes it may have flown away or any other possibility.
