Despite only being on the shelves for a couple of weeks, the book has received extremely broad coverage from the media, including MSNBC, The Huffington Post, Technorati, and NPR. Leslie Kean was also invited on The Colbert Report last night to discuss her book.

During her appearance on The Colbert Report, Kean brought up the Chicago O’Hare UFO incident from 2006, in which a UFO was spotted by airport and airline employees. Witnesses described the hovering object as saucer-shaped and metallic. After hovering for a couple minutes, the UFO shot straight up, punching a hole in the clouds as it disappeared.
Stephen Colbert, the host of The Colbert Report, claimed that he has never heard about the O’Hare UFO incident. It is surprising that a journalist/news reporter could miss a major story that was covered by NPR, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and others. This story remains the most popular story in the history of ChicagoTribune.com. The History Channel’s UFO Hunters even did a special entitled “UFOs at the Airport,” in which they recreated the O’Hare incident.
Since Kean’s appearance on The Colbert Show, Google has noticed a spike in the volume of people searching for information about the O’Hare UFO incident.
Leslie Kean’s book was also mentioned by theoretical physicist Michio Kaku yesterday on MSNBC’s The Dylan Ratigan Show.
